Payroll Assistant - Beaconsfield - £23,000 - £26,000 per annum
The company
Opportunity for a Payroll Assistant to join a successful business in Beaconsfield and becomes a valued member of the payroll team.
The role
After a strong and busy start to the year, this well-established business now require a Payroll Assistant to join their team. Reporting into the Payroll Manager the Payroll Assistant will manage the end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients. The duties of the Payroll Assistant will include:
Preparation of bank payments
Liaise with directors and partners to arrange timely submission of payments
delivery of payroll outputs (P45s & payslips)
Submission of RTI returns
Accurately preparation of weekly payrolls
Covering peers with processing payrolls as absence cover and during payroll peak times
Preparation and management of database
What you'll need to be successful
With experience already gained and having already worked in a financial environment you will have experience in the above duties. Working in a team you will need to have:
Previous experience in payroll or a similar position
Strong time management skills with the ability to work quickly and accurately
Good communication skills (written & verbal)
Proficient Excel skills
A willingness to learn and take extra responsibilities
