About the Job: This role is pivotal in coordinating payroll and benefits processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy, and supporting the People team. You will work closely with senior managers and external partners to deliver efficient payroll services and enhance employee knowledge of benefits.

 

Duties will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end payroll process fortnightly and monthly.
  • Handling payroll adjustments, including bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
  • Administering pension salary sacrifice and benefits programmes.
  • Calculating statutory payments and preparing payroll reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and participating in audits.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for payroll queries.
  • Collaborating with the People team and stakeholders to address concerns.
  • Building relationships with external suppliers and industry experts.

 

About the Successful Applicant: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in payroll coordination, a strong understanding of UK payroll regulations, and proficiency in HR/payroll software. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage confidential information are essential. A CIPP qualification or working towards it is desirable. Itrent and ADP knowledge is an advantage.
