Payroll Administrator, Thame, £27,000

The company

A thriving, family-owned business based in Thame are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their energetic team. This is an amazing opportunity for a professional at the beginning of their career looking for a new challenge.

Working within a small team, you will process end-to-end payroll for salaried employees with responsibilities such as:

  • Processing payroll for approximately 450 employees
  • Calculating and reconciling hours worked, Sickness and Holiday
  • Responding to employee queries regarding pay
  • Assisting the Payroll manager with month-end and year-end reports
  • Scanning and filing payroll documents
  • Liaising with HMRC to ensure employee records are up to date and correct

What you will need to be successful

  • At least 1 years' experience of working within a payroll department
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team or on your own initiative
