A new opportunity has become available to work for an award-winning, independent accountancy firm in Buckinghamshire. My client is seeking a Payroll Administrator with experience in the bureau industry or with a background of working within a firm and dealing with multiple client payrolls to work in a friendly office environment.

The role

This is a hands on role in which you will take responsibility for a portfolio of client and ensure that their payroll is run on time and with accuracy. Duties include;

  • Processing Weekly and Monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients
  • Answering Client Queries
  • Issuing p45's and p60's
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Processing SMP claims
  • Liaising with client accountants
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Pension auto-enrolment

What you will need to be successful

  • At least 1 year's experience in payroll
  • Bureau experience or experience of working with multiple client payrolls
  • A brilliant work ethic
  • Good people skills
  • Efficient time management
