My client is a progressive and rapidly growing company based in Heathrow. They are currently seeking an experienced Part Time Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.
There is flexibility on (AM) start time with this part time role, but the client needs commitment to 5 days and circa 20-25 hours per week.
You will oversee a section of the UK Sales Ledger and be responsible for Credit Collections, cash allocation and query resolution within a varied, high volume portfolio of debtors.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with over 2 years experience in a collections environment, ensuring accurate cash flow forecasting and hold overall responsibility for driving down DSO through effective and streamlined cash collection processes - obtaining timely payment from debtors via online banking, Credit Card and BACS and communicating with the wider business.
You will be required to build long-standing relationships both internally and externally and solve any queries relating to invoices and disputes by partnering with stakeholders within the business.
Minimising overdue (+60 day) debt by managing cash collection activity
Obtaining payment from Clients using effective collection techniques via telephone/email
Query resolution and Credit note processing resolving disputes efficiently
Ensuring unallocated cash, refunds, write off's are processed in a timely fashion
Sales Ledger account reconciliations and associated commentary + forecasting
Customer account maintenance
Proven experience as a Credit Controller +2 years
Confident, versatile telephone manner
Must be well organised and flexible and capable of working to tight deadlines
Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with a diverse portfolio of debtors
Pro-active approach to collections and developing rapport with debtors
Experience of working autonomously on a high volume Sales Ledger and the associated tasks
