Part Time Accounts Assistant (20 hours weekly) - Reading - £9.00 - £10.50 Per Hour + Benefits

The company

A well-established company in the motor trade sector. This fantastic company have an urgent requirement for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team in Reading.

The role

This company are looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant with an extensive knowledge of both purchase ledger and sales ledger. The duties of the Accounts Assistant would include:

  • Processing detailed purchase ledger invoices
  • Resolving internal and external supplier queries
  • Reviewing a list of parked invoices and chase invoices pending approval
  • Allocating payments against invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Management of supplier statement reconciliations
  • Any ad hoc duties as required by the Accountant

What you'll need to be successful

To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience in a similar role and be a proactive individual, capable of managing both sales and purchase ledger with little supervision.
