Newly-qualified Accountant

£40k-£50k (dependent upon experience), Slough

Our Client:

We have just been approached by an established organisation who are recruiting for a newly-qualified Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation in a point where you are looking to advance your career.

About The Role:

An all-round, hands-on, Accountant who will be supporting the Finance Manager, experienced in day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of monthly and year end accounts for audit and compliance
  • Responsibility for annual budgeting process
  • Liaising across business functions to produce the annual budget
  • Margin and variance analysis
  • Interfacing at all levels with the senior operations team
  • Assist in preparing monthly sales and KPI reports
  • Carry out process reviews
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support at year end to the winder finance team

What you will need to be successful:

Finalist Accountant in the later stages of your qualification, with previous experience working within a finance office or analyst based role.

  • Qualified within CIMA,ACCA,ACA
  • Excellent Excel skills, capable of interpreting and reporting data
  • Ability to convey complicated information to non-financed-based audience
  • Knowledge of multi-entity transactions and reconciliations
  • Experience in preparing management accounts and balance sheet controls
  • Experience with budget preparation, margin & variance analysis
