Management Accountant - £50.000 - £60.000 - Central London - Permanent

My client is looking for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This role reports into the Finance Director for the UK division of a global company. You will need to be a qualified Accountant, hands on in Management Accounting and a proactive individual.

Key Duties:

  • Manage the overhead budgeting and forecasting process, liaising with budget holders to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency for the UK
  • Posting of correcting journals as and when necessary
  • Advise outsourced finance team on coding of invoices, receipts and payments as and when required
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly and quarterly management reporting packs
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory financial statements for UK and Jersey entities
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual and half yearly stat reporting packs
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual overhead budgets
  • Assist in the preparation of the quarterly divisional re-forecasts
  • Liaison with external and internal audit where necessary to provide supporting documentation as and when needed
  • Assist in the compilation of data to meet ad hoc reporting request from both Group and local management, as and when the need arises
  • Comparison of actual performance against budget / forecast

What you will need to be successful:

  • Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Property sector exposure (advantageous)
  • Available to commute to Central London
  • At least One to Two years PQE experience
