About the Job
Working within a small finance team, this is a broad Management Accountant position combining month-end reporting, statutory accounting, forecasting and commercial analysis. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and provide meaningful financial information to senior management and external stakeholders.
Duties will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts, including all associated reconciliations and adjustments.
- Preparing P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reports for management and joint venture stakeholders.
- Providing variance analysis across margins, overheads and business performance.
- Preparing statutory accounts and supporting corporation tax requirements.
- Liaising with external auditors, tax advisers and other professional partners.
- Preparing cash flow forecasts, annual budgets and supporting wider business planning.
- Supporting regulatory reporting, company secretarial requirements and ad hoc finance projects.
About the Successful Applicant
You will have at least two years’ experience working as a Management Accountant and will either be actively studying towards and nearing completion of a recognised accounting qualification, or already qualified. You will have experience of group accounts and working directly with external auditors, alongside strong management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial control skills. You’ll also be analytical, organised and confident communicating with stakeholders across the business.
