About the Job

This role will play a pivotal part in delivering accurate and timely financial information to support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements. You will take ownership of key accounting areas, ensure strong financial controls, and partner with stakeholders across the organisation to provide meaningful insight and analysis.

Duties will include:

  • Managing the full accounting cycle for designated P&L areas such as utilities, fleet, property costs and revenue streams
  • Overseeing and maintaining the Asset Retirement Obligation model, including associated postings
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, resolving outstanding items promptly
  • Acting as a key contact for reconciliation processes and related financial controls
  • Ensuring compliance with UK and international accounting standards and maintaining robust documentation
  • Producing monthly journals with clear supporting documentation
  • Delivering detailed variance analysis across P&L and balance sheet
  • Partnering with FP&A and Commercial Finance teams to enhance reporting and forecasting insight
  • Supporting landlord reporting requirements and statutory submissions
  • Assisting with audit processes including interim and year-end reviews
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial processes

About the Successful Applicant

You will be part-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong ERP and advanced Excel skills. A proactive and detail-oriented individual, you will demonstrate sound financial control awareness, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders. You will be comfortable working to tight deadlines, identifying process improvements and collaborating effectively within a fast-paced finance function.
