The company

We are partner with a Global IT and Communications business based in Farnborough, seeking a Management Accountant to join their fast paced, results driven Finance function. This role will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller helping with end to end management accounts for UK&I entities.

The role

  • Manage the completion of the UK & Ireland month end close

  • Maintenance of schedules for prepayments and accruals

  • Ensure intercompany transactions are fully reconciled

  • Overseeing fixed assets and leases

  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

  • Assist with reporting financials to head office based in the US

  • Support the production of the month end financial reports

  • Continual improvement of management reports

  • Statutory Reporting

  • Preparing the VAT returns, Intrastat and EC Sales List Returns

  • Assistance in preparing schedules for audit

What you'll need to be successful

CIMA / ACCA finalist or qualified

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel

Ideally knowledge of Sage or Oracle.
