Management Accountant
Maidenhead, £40,000 - £55,000 (dependent upon experience)

Wade Macdonald is currently partnering with a services-based business based in Maidenhead who are actively looking to appoint a Management Accountant who will deliver timely and accurate management of accounts for business units within the group.
About the role - key responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analysing of the monthly management accounts and understanding of variances against previous year and budget to communicate to senior management
- Preparing budgets and forecasts
- Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments, and margins
- Challenging existing processes and making recommendations driving continuous efficiency and improvements
- Preparing and reviewing sales reports
- Preparing month end balance sheet reconciliations and posting journals
- Assisting external auditors and assisting with year-end statutory accounts preparation
- Contributing to the larger strategic objectives of the organisation
What you will need to be successful
- Studying towards ACCA/CIMA (part-qualified, ideally a finalist)
- Previous experience of preparing management accounts
- Basic understanding of financial transactions including double entry bookkeeping
- Able to communicate at all levels of the business
