Interim Financial Reporting Manager - Wokingham (Inside IR35)

£350 - £400 per day

The company

Leader in its field requires someone to join them on a temp basis initially for a period of 6 months to manage a team/

The role

Hands on financial reporting role but the emphasis for the business is on people management - you will need to demonstrate a background of management (team of up to 10 people).

Dealing with:

Ensuring that statutory deadlines are met

Working within the IFRS accounting rules

Mentoring and supervising the team

Responsible for tax returns - ensuring completion and submission on time

VAT Returns

Working with the external auditors

What you'll need to be successful

A qualified accountant your CV will need to demonstrate a background in management of a team. Applicants with no management will unfortunately not be considered for this role. This is a support and mentoring role so an ability to demonstrate this will be required.

Technically you will have experience in external reporting to auditors, be able to work within the current statutory reporting requirements and have experience with vat and tax returns.
