A market leading FTS50 company are looking to add an experienced infrastructure analyst to their small and agile team, after a very strong year of increased size and profitability. With over £10.5 billion in owned assets, they are a multinational company split across 40% in the UK and 60% across 11 sites in 7 European countries.
You will have the chance to travel across these sites, and work with industry heavyweights such as Amazon and DPD to name just a few of their household named clients.
Role & Responsibility:
To act as Service Technical Owner for all of their IT infrastructure services; operating systems, networks, cloud and data centres
Work closely with business owners to understand technical requirements and develop roadmaps to put them into production
To ensure operational cyber resilience, making sure systems and services are managed according to the company's security standards
Work closely with other teams to understand business demand planning
Skills & Experiences needed:
Excellent knowledge of common infrastructure technologies: OS, networking, Cloud & data centres
Excellent knowledge of IT security systems - firewall, antivirus IDS etc.
Proven experience with data centres and virtualized server environments
Strong knowledge of a cloud service - ideally Azure as they are fully transferring to the cloud in the next 12 months
Strong knowledge of SQL server
Experience with network technologies LAN/WAN
Strong communication skills to interact with internal stakeholder and external vendors
Experience running services in Microsoft Azure
Prince2 practitioner or PMI certification
Salary and Benefits:
Basic salary in the range of £45,000-£55,000
Generous bonus up to 25% paid yearly
£455 per month cash car allowance or company car
36.25 working hours per week
