About the Job

This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of the people function, aligning HR strategy with wider business goals. You will play a key role in shaping employee experience, supporting leadership, and ensuring best practice across all HR activities.

Duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing a people strategy aligned with organisational objectives
  • Leading initiatives focused on employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, and succession planning
  • Providing guidance on complex employee relations matters and ensuring fair outcomes
  • Ensuring HR policies and procedures remain compliant with current legislation
  • Overseeing and improving HR systems to enhance reporting and decision-making
  • Supporting and developing the HR and recruitment team
  • Driving improvements in retention, performance, and organisational effectiveness

 

About the Successful Applicant

You will be a CIPD-qualified HR professional (Level 5 or above) with proven experience in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and GDPR is essential. You will be commercially aware, confident working with senior stakeholders, and capable of balancing strategic input with operational delivery while leading and motivating a team effectively.
