HR Generalist EMEA - Bracknell - up to £40,000 depending on experience

The company

Wade Macdonald are working with an award winning global company who are looking for a HR Generalist to join there HR.

The role

  • First point of contact on basic enquiries relating to EMEA policy and procedures, ability to provide guidance within guidelines.
  • Provide employee relations advice to managers and employees. Provide employee relations administrative support, taking meeting minutes and ensuring that these are accurately typed up in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for all new starter processes, including documentation, HRIS actions, co-ordination of employee orientation day and delivery of employee orientation, coaches others on their delivery, carrying out new hire check in meetings and following up on any issues raised.
  • Ensure all new starters are enrolled into local benefit programmes prior to start date.
  • Prepare employee leaving documentation and conduct exit interviews up to management level to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Answer and redirect questions relating to employee benefits where appropriate. Build good working relationships with external providers. Reconciliation of invoices.
  • Manage the company maternity, paternity and leave policies for the UK and Central Europe and ensure managers are informed of the Companies responsibilities. Keep in touch with employees on maternity leave as per legislation.
  • Participation in Global HR projects and initiatives implementing these new programmes and initiatives locally within EMEA. Act as EMEA lead for any HRIS projects.
  • Coordination of all monthly payroll changes for Southern Europe, Central Europe, and the UK and ensure that all forms and HRIS instructions are submitted correctly and in a timely manner, in accordance with Payroll cut off dates. Ensuring that relevant letters are drafted and signed by the employee and filed in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Specialist for recruitment activities across the EMEA region including the graduate recruitment programme in the UK (assessment centres)
  • Work with the global talent mobility team and provide support when required on international assignments, visas and work permits.

Experience required

  • CIPD qualified.
  • Experience of working in a European role
  • Ideally experience of working in a Tech based company
  • To perform this role successfully candidates must have a strong attention to detail and be able to accurately input data into HR systems. They must be able to review and check spreadsheets of data and highlight corrections and errors.
