** HR Generalist - 12 Month FTC - Wokingham - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits **

The Company & the Role:
Working for a well-established global technology business, the HR Generalist will be responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level, while working closely with the HR team and Managers to provide the best possible support to the company's employees. The position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment, on boarding/off boarding, policy implementation, employee relations and HR system management, employee absence management and full employee life cycle. The role will support the HR Managers for the UK sites and may involve some travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains, updates and audits employee information/records via the HR system. Workday; prepares metrics on both a recurring and non-recurring


  • Supports with employee absences, including long term sickness and family leave.
  • Ensure all legal right to work documentation is updated, tracked and reported.
  • Supports inquiries in relation to benefits, employee details, compensation etc.
  • Assists in the development, implementation and management of HR policies and procedures.
  • Develops strong relationships with the business and ensures all decision-making processes are consistent within the HR framework.
  • Assists the UK HR Managers with any employee relations, gathers data, conducts investigations, reports, findings etc.
  • Supports recruitment efforts for all employees, graduates and temporary employees; maintains recruitment systems and conducts telephone screens

and interviews as and when required.

  • Produce HR related documentation, including offer documentation, leaver letters and meeting invites.
  • Deliver on boarding and induction for new hires and support on the employee leaver process.
  • Partners closely with the HR team across Europe.

Experience Needed to be Successful

  • Preferred candidate will have 3 years + HR related experience, with knowledge of HR systems (Workday will have a preferred advantage).
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise their workload while operating with a sense of urgency.
  • A proven ability to maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy when handling high volume tasks.
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work on your own initiative, eager to learn and keen to progress within their career.
  • Demonstrates an ability to effectively communicate with impact and influence at all levels.
  • Proven knowledge of employment legislation
