The company

Organisation looking for a HR professional with experience to join them. This is a hands on role supporting the Director of Finance and HR Consultant with many aspects of HR. CIPD qualified individual with good generalist knowledge.

The role

This HR role will also take responsibility for some of the operational aspects as well. Duties will including

Recruitment including on-boarding new starters and dealing with documentation relevant to starters and leavers

Ensuring appraisals are carried out

Looking at training needs and organising training courses for people

Deal with any issues, grievances

Ensuring that information is sent to Payroll Bureau for accurate payroll calculation

Dealing with any queries

Working with benefits providers and administration of benefits

Dealing with and ensuring Health and Safety is in line with legislation

GDPR and compliance

Updating documentation

In addition the organisation would be keen for someone to also take responsibility for aspects of health and safety, management of the reception area and other general office duties but this experience is not a pre-requisite for the role.

What you will need to be successful

You will need to have a background of working in HR and ideally be used to dealing with other general office responsibilities including health and safety. Well organised, with good communication skills and an ability to analyse and solve problems you need to be hands on a keen to work in an organisation where you can really make a difference.
