The company

A business with a track record of success and growth over many years with a well-established network of clients on a global basis are looking to appoint an HR Advisor / Manager with generalist HR experience into a standalone role.

The role

As the sole contact for HR this business is moving from having someone on a part time consultancy basis to now having grown and requiring a full time HR Advisor. Responsibilities will include:

Implement and maintain HR system

Streamline processes

Management of starters, leavers, annual leave, on boarding, inductions

Deal with performance improvement including grievances if required

Manage recruitment across all functions within the business

Produce management reports relating to turnover of staff, headcount, sickness and other areas when requested

Ensure compliance across the organisation with Health and Safety

Deal with queries

Ensure that the business is operating under UK employment law regulations

General office management including some aspects of insurance policies

What you will need to be successful

You will need to have worked in a small to medium sized business and be a very hands on HR professional, ideally you will have experience of implementing a HR systems previously.

Tenacity, professionalism, pragmatism and resilient are some of the qualities that this role requires. In addition you will be CIPD level 5 qualified and have working knowledge of UK employment law.

You will be a bright and confident individual, someone who people can speak to easily and be able to develop good working relationships with the teams across the business.
