Wade Macdonald is delighted to be assisting this incredible global charity based in Woking. We are looking for a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to help our client transform their approach to Finance across the globe, developing its impact effectiveness and how it enables our client to be financial sustainable. This exciting high profile role is fundamental in enabling my client to provide insightful strategic goals and objectives with maximum impact.

The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis supports the Director of Financial Initiatives and Executive Director of Finance / IT providing strategic financial insights and analysis to support initiatives to strengthen financial performance across the global organisation. The role will particularly support initiatives and opportunities that strengthen financial sustainability across more than 50 programme countries and 20 National Organisations.

The successful Head of FP&A will be a qualified (ICAEW/CIMA/ACCA/MBA essential) Accountant with a finance background ideally with specific Economics/Statistics experience with an ability to provide inputs and insights on key financial initiatives.

You will have a strong understanding of Development/Humanitarian Funding Models and political dynamic across all stakeholder perspectives; exposure to peer organisations a plus.

Strong project management and organisation skills to manage multiple work streams and meet deadlines. Has a passion for data-driven, evidence-based decision-making, with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills - able to tackle unstructured/undefined problems and create/apply strategic frameworks and models to solve and provide insights. Experience of working in different countries, including the developing world, and as such possess knowledge and understanding of the context, culture and financial capacity within these settings.
