The role: Working closely with the Group Finance Director you will be responsible for the financial reporting and planning on a key business unit. Responsibilities will include: P&L & cashflow management, delivering against KPIs and budget Accurate & timely delivery of month end and annual audited accounts Maintain and improve key controls, focusing on stock, AP & AR Oversee a controlled AP process from PO through to payment, partner with production manager to reduce costs and increase payment terms Payroll – shared responsibility with HR to ensure accuracy and compliance Work with SMT to ensure robust financial controls on all risk areas Planning & Reporting to Group Preparation of annual budget (and forecasts as required) Regular cash flow forecasting and variance analysis versus previous Business Partnering Assist the Group FD to drive quality and profitability throughout the production processes of both companies Develop the reporting required to run two production businesses as effectively and efficiently as possible Key team member on IT development projects, including: new stock control processes; selection and implementation of new accounting software / ERP (TBC) Lead and develop your team in their daily work and career (note: as this is a small finance team, you will also cover their absences) The ideal candidate: A qualified accountant with some PQE Experience of working within a manufacturing organisation Able to work on site in South Oxfordshire 5 days per week What's on offer: An ongoing interim assignment with the possibility of temp to perm The chance to work in a great company with a positive working environment. £300 - £400 per day umbrella company rate (inside IR35)
