General Manager - South Oxfordshire - £40000

Our client who have actually grown during the pandemic require an General Manager with a varied skill set to join their well established team. The ideally candidate will have a strong administrative background including having gained experience within both finance and HR and finance, along with quality assurance and health and safety.

The Role:

The position will be best suited to someone with a broad range of skills. Your duties will include:

  • Management of the premises, including liaising width the landlord and maintenance suppliers

  • Management and development of systems

  • Managing office supplies

  • Finance - managing performance against budgets, debt management and supplier payments

  • HR - managing the HR system, supporting the HR Director in the administration of training, producing HR data for the board

  • Health and Safety - Overseeing the implementation of H&S, management of audits and producing H&S reports to the Board of Directors

  • Quality Assurance - Undertaking internal audits under ISO9001 and ISO14001

The Successful Candidate:

You will be proactive and enthusiastic with a track record of meeting deadlines. You will be detail orientated with strong analytical skills and a strong understanding of Microsoft packages. You will have experience of both finance and HR and ideally have qualifications around health and safety or quality assurance.
