About the Client:
An established organisation within the Retail sector, this UK-based subsidiary is part of a larger global group and continues to grow through a multi-channel approach. With over 100 employees and a presence in both online and high street markets, they take pride in delivering high-quality consumer products. They cultivate a dynamic work environment where work-life balance and employee well-being are priorities.

About the Job:
Due to ongoing growth, a new opportunity has arisen for an FP&A Management Accountant to join the finance team. This is a hybrid position combining core financial reporting with forward-thinking analysis, offering exposure across the full budgeting and forecasting cycle. The role reports to the Financial Controller and supports both strategic planning and day-to-day financial operations.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting the month-end close process and preparing management accounts
  • Producing key reports including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital
  • Assisting with statutory reporting and audit preparation
  • Developing and maintaining robust internal controls and improving financial processes
  • Supporting annual budgets and rolling forecasts
  • Providing variance analysis and commentary to support decision-making
  • Creating management reports and dashboards for senior leadership
  • Building financial models for planning, scenario analysis and business cases
  • Preparing sales intake forecasts and ad hoc BI reporting

About the Successful Applicant:
You will have at least five years of experience in a role blending management accounting with FP&A responsibilities. A degree in Accounting or Finance is required, and a recognised qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA is advantageous. Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and experience with ERP or reporting tools such as Power BI will be key. The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders is essential.

What You Will Receive in Return:
This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development within an international finance function. Benefits include 25 days holiday, private health insurance, pension, subsidised lunches, generous staff discounts, and access to study support. You’ll be part of a collaborative culture that values growth, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
