Financial Control and Compliance Manager



The company

Global leading business in its sector are looking a Finance Compliance & Control Manager to strengthen its European audit and compliance team in Berkshire. This is a key management role that will include supporting the Internal Audit team and the client is looking for a Qualified Accountant with experience in project management and a background of working with internal controls. This is an international role where travel will be required.

The role

Role responsibilities include:

  • Working with the compliance team targeting fraud prevention
  • Supporting the internal audit team ensuring compliance of internal controls
  • Plan and implement a financial compliance plan
  • Review, monitor and test controls
  • Ensure standardisation of controls
  • Improve financial controls across the organisation
  • Develop data analysis models for projects
  • Ensure policies on fraud prevention are reviewed, updated and adhered to
  • Promote continuous improvement of controls across the region with key stakeholders
  • Involvement in projects

What you'll need to be successful

A qualified accountant with a CV demonstrating experience in financial compliance, controls and auditing of these functions on an international scale.
Once travel restrictions have been lifted it is likely that this role will involve 30% travel, knowledge of a European language would be beneficial.

Experience of working in a commercial organisation, a back ground of using data analysis techniques, strong analytical and problem solving skills. You will need be a confident communicator with integrity and able to liaise with stakeholders in an effective manner.
