Wade Macdonald is excited to be partnering with a leading brand who operate within the financial services sector. My client is part of a global group who are consistently delivering an impressive rate of growth year on year. The business is currently going through an exciting phase of growth and development and as a result, they are actively looking to appoint an ambitious Financial Analyst to join the existing team.

About the role - key responsibilities:

As the Financial Analyst, this role will report into the Senior Finance Business Partner and will take responsibility for the delivery of insightful analysis to drive strategic business decisions

• Work with a breadth of financial and non-financial stakeholders, to deliver robust and insightful analysis of weekly business performance and monthly operational board packs

• Provide timely ad-hoc analysis of financial and non-financial drivers using Excel and PowerBI

• Analyse performance to understand and identify commercial drivers impacting results, in addition to sharing best practices across the internal network

• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, including the development and evolution of tools

• Work to a high level of accuracy whilst managing multiple priorities and deadlines with your stakeholders

What you will need to be successful:

• Part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

• Experience of handling financial and non-financial data sets

• Experience of using budgeting and BI tools is advantageous

• Competent in Excel
