Financial Analyst
Oxford - up to £40,000pa plus study support
Wade Macdonald is excited to be partnering with a leading brand who operate within the financial services sector. My client is part of a global group who are consistently delivering an impressive rate of growth year on year. The business is currently going through an exciting phase of growth and development and as a result, they are actively looking to appoint an ambitious Financial Analyst to join the existing team.
About the role - key responsibilities:
As the Financial Analyst, this role will report into the Senior Finance Business Partner and will take responsibility for the delivery of insightful analysis to drive strategic business decisions
Work with a breadth of financial and non-financial stakeholders, to deliver robust and insightful analysis of weekly business performance and monthly operational board packs
Provide timely ad-hoc analysis of financial and non-financial drivers using Excel and PowerBI
Analyse performance to understand and identify commercial drivers impacting results, in addition to sharing best practices across the internal network
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, including the development and evolution of tools
Work to a high level of accuracy whilst managing multiple priorities and deadlines with your stakeholders
What you will need to be successful:
Part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Experience of handling financial and non-financial data sets
Experience of using budgeting and BI tools is advantageous
Competent in Excel
