Fixed term contract - to £45k per annum
Impressive organisation with international connections seeks someone to join them on a fixed term contract to cover maternity. This is a great opportunity for someone to secure a role for a period of 9 - 12 months and make a difference within a well-established organisation.
A hands on role this ideally requires someone with a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA OR ACA). In this role you will deal with:
Ensuring completion of month end
Review and analyse expenses
Balance sheet reconciliations
Intercompany reconciliations and recharge
Production of the statutory account
Supporting Vat and Intrastat submissions
Support calculations for corporate tax
Liaise with and assist with both internal and external audit teams
Variance analysis reporting
Supporting accounts payable function
Support sign off on monthly payroll and reconcile payroll
What you'll need to be successful
Ideally a qualified accountant you will really need to demonstrate experience in the above list areas. You need to have strong technical accounting skills and an ability to interact at all levels of the business. This role needs someone with superb attention to detail and an ability to work independently whilst also working as part of the wider business unit. You will need to be focused and keen to impart the knowledge you have gained in similar roles. You will ideally need to have worked with an ERP system previously.
