Finance/Data Analyst - Business Intelligence - £60,000 - Oxford (hybrid working)

The Company

This well known Company is looking for a talented Analyst with strong exposure within Business Intelligence. The Company is growing rapidly and this newly created role will work closely within Commercial Finance to support this.

The Role

The role will support continued growth by working on projects to analyse and examine financial and non-financial data with a continuous improvement mindset.

The role will be a part of the Finance Team working closely with the other members of the finance team and operational teams throughout the organisation. The aim is to drive a capital efficient construction platform that supports the achievement of investment plans, driving financial focus.

Ultimately the focus of the role is to develop and maintain systems to provide information and meaning to data to the business.

Key role functions:

  • Devise and implement business automation initiatives to bring efficiency's
  • Take ownership of the analysis of financial and non-financial data including but not limited to financial budgets, sales & marketing KPIs, headcount reporting.
  • Evaluate project trends and their implications to inform the business and identify opportunities for course-correction to create a more cost-effective way of working
  • Set up and deliver regular reporting, trend analysis, cost reviews with substantial contribution into Board and Investor reporting.
  • Collaborate and solve complex business problems and strategic questions for the division across multiple geographies.
  • Business partner the Opex depts across the organisation.

What do I need to be successful?

Excellent Excel and Power BI skills.

Experienced in Data analytics and automated reporting
