Finance Manager, £40,000 - £50,000

West Berkshire

Wade Macdonald is currently partnering with a rapidly growing technology business who are actively looking to appoint a Finance Manager. They're an impressive organisation who are going through a period of exponential growth and looking to further their service offering internationally.

About the role - key responsibilities:

Reporting into the CFO you will work closely on the company financial processes & various internal projects related to process improvement, optimisation, ERP implementation and digitalisation

  • Managing the accounting team (4-5 reports)
  • General ledger & balance sheet reconciliation
  • Managing the production of month end management accounts
  • Work closely with the operations team in order to reconcile the project accounts
  • GL reconciliation
  • Accruals / Prepayments
  • Maintaining fixed assets register
  • VAT submissions
  • TR, TP reconciliation and intercompany reconciliations
  • Assisting with internal and external audits
  • PAYE preparation and submission via external partner
  • Control all costs and expenses and report trends or issues

What you will need to be successful:

  • Previous experience in financial management
  • Strong attention to detail and good level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organised and efficient way
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines and to act on own initiative
  • People management skills
