Finance Manager - Reading - Paying up to £55,000 per annum, with added benefits
Wade Macdonald are currently working with a fantastic, vibrant and forward-thinking company based in Reading with the recruitment of a "Qualified Finance Manager" role on a permanent basis. This role is perfect for someone who is ACA or ACCA or CA qualified making their first move out of practice into industry. This role will throw you in the deep end, is very varied in its scope and has a clear plan for progression. No two days will be the same as you will be working first hand on ad hoc projects and supervising a technical finance team. This exciting new role will offer you the opportunity to learn first hand from the Finance Director.
Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of internal audit
Develop and improve financial processes and internal controls to ensure consistency across all subsidiaries
Design and implement a global purchase order system
Deputise for the FD when necessary
Work on project accounting, including commercial project reviews
Create the budgets & financial forecasts
Overhead analysis
Requirements:
Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA OR CA
Can do attitude, willingness to get stuck in and learn
Strong stakeholder engagement experience
Be confident and proactive
