About the Job

This role is a key part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, responsible for analysing financial performance, supporting decision-making, and ensuring effective financial planning. The Finance Business Partner will collaborate closely with budget holders to drive strategic, commercial, and operational insights.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for designated business areas
  • Producing monthly financial reports with variance analysis for leadership teams
  • Acting as a trusted financial advisor to budget holders, offering insights for decision-making
  • Aligning financial strategies with business objectives through cost analysis and resource planning
  • Developing innovative financial solutions to support business change and growth
  • Enhancing financial processes and driving continuous improvement

About the Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant experience in Finance Business Partnering within the Construction. Strong analytical skills, financial reporting expertise, and the ability to present complex data clearly to non-financial stakeholders are essential. You will be a proactive and highly organised individual with excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, a keen eye for detail, and a track record of driving business performance.
