Finance Business Partner

Oxford, hybrid-working, c£40,000

Wade Macdonald is currently partnering with a longstanding and well-respected business within the healthcare sector based in the Oxfordshire area who are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner.

About the role - key responsibilities:

The primary goal of the Finance Business Partner is to assist with the production of the monthly management accounts, preparation of budgets, other ad-hoc analysis, with one direct report. The role would suit someone who is ideally part-qualified and actively studying (ACCA/CIMA).

  • Assisting in the production of management accounts
  • Providing a business partnering service
  • Managing and developing the Assistant Management Accountant
  • Preparation of staff costs analysis and review for monthly accounts
  • Reviewing overheads and liaise and ensuring they are accurately recorded
  • Reviewing all journals posted by the Assistant Management Accountant
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and ad-hoc analysis
  • Providing a business partnering service to the division,
  • Producing and reviewing meaningful variance analysis
  • Working with key business partners and stakeholders to develop successful partnering relationships
  • Occasional travel mostly within Oxfordshire
  • Liaison with Accounts Payable to understand supplier costs and commitments

What you will need to be successful:

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Experience of preparing and preparation of management accounts
  • Part qualified (CIMA/ACCA)
