Finance Assistant - £19,000- £21,000 - Oxford

A brilliant business in the educational sector based in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your previous finance knowledge as well as learn and develop new skills.

The role

This fantastic business have an urgent requirement for a Finance Assistant to join their small but busy team. Reporting into the Finance Manager, your duties would include:

  • Sole responsibility and management of the purchase ledger and sales ledger functions

  • Resolution of internal and external supplier queries

  • Daily/weekly bank reconciliations

  • Monthly journal posting

  • Management of petty cash claims

  • Assisting with Accruals and prepayments

  • Assisting with monthly payroll

  • Ad-hoc finance duties

What you'll need to be successful

  • Previous accounts assistant experience or experience in a similar finance role

  • Previous knowledge of exchequer is desirable but not essential

  • Strong communication skills (written & Verbal)

  • Proficient Microsoft office knowledge (Excel, Word & Outlook)
