Finance Assistant £30,000 - £35,000

Central London, hybrid working

Our Client:

Our client is an organisation who due to their expertise and rapid growth are now seeking to recruit for a Finance Assistant. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and growing business who are looking for an enthusiastic, diligent, and team-focused Finance Assistant to support their expanding senior finance team. You will be involved in a multitude of transactional finance tasks as well as some month-end responsibilities.

About the role - key responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices and supplier invoices
  • Reconciling Expenses
  • Credit control
  • Cash book maintenance
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Liaising with third party providers and suppliers
  • General administration
  • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
  • Assisting with month-end procedures (including payroll)

About you:

Good knowledge experience of transactional finance, with a strong desire to progress and ideally part-qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).

  • Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA ideally)
  • Previous experience of transactional accounting tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels (both inside and outside the organisation)
  • A proactive learner and a confident self-starter
  • Ability to interface with a global team (knowing an additional language to English would be an advantage)
