A well-established business based in Reading, Due to a period of growth this business require an experienced Finance Assistant to join their busy finance team.

The role
This supportive business are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly dynamic team. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing a variety of finance tasks. The duties of the Finance Assistant will include:

  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Liaise with banks on refunds & payments
  • Reconciliation of the balance sheets
  • Processing of ad-hoc payments
  • Supporting the further finance team where required




What you'll need to be successful
With experience already gained and having already worked in a similar role you will have experience in the above duties. Working in a team you will need to have:

  • Previous experience as an Finance Assistant or similar finance experience
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Good communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (v look ups & pivot tables)
  • A willingness to learn and take extra responsibilities
  • NetSuite systems knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
