Finance Analyst - £30,000-£35,000 - Basingstoke, Hampshire
Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a rapidly growing and fast-paced global technology company based near Basingstoke.
The main function of the role is to investigate and understand all areas of contact with suppliers, focusing on areas which have a financial or operational impact on the business. You will highlight these and recommend and help execute changes to existing processes to maximise efficiencies and costs within the business
One of the key roles of the job is to deliver and report against assigned projects which revolve around suppliers, stock and key KPI's by which the company measure suppliers and purchasing by, including but not limited to ageing, excess, discontinued, obsolete stock, working capital, on time delivery, order fulfilment, performance of buyers and our suppliers.
What you'll need to be successful
This role will suit an individual with good communication skills and be able to converse both internally and with suppliers, on the phone and on a face to face basis. You will be confident and be able to interact at senior levels. You will be self-motivated and be able to work on your own when required. You must be able to solve problems and deliver solutions. Ideally you will have worked in a fast moving industry with an extensive supplier base. You are self- motivated, not afraid to get involved in the detail and can work to deadlines. Above all you should be comfortable working within the values of the company and capable of growing within a dynamic and ambitious business.
