Finance Analyst - Reading - Circa £45,000 per annum

Wade Macdonald are currently supporting a fantastic business based in Reading that is looking to recruit a Financial Reporting Analyst. This exciting new role reports directly into the UK Financial Controller and has responsibility for;

  • Creation of monthly reporting for two trading entities creation of statutory financial statements for six UK legal entities, preparation of corporation tax compliance packs and quarterly VAT returns, supported on a technical basis by the Tax Manager and management of the monthly intercompany.

  • Creation of the monthly actual profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow statement results for review and approval by the UK Financial Controller, ensuring that the data is complete, accurate and agrees to the underlying SAP accounting system

  • Creation of the statutory financial statements for six legal entities, to timetables agreed with the UK Financial Controller, Group Finance and the external auditors

  • Preparation of all intercompany transactions for two companies

  • Preparation of VAT returns for two companies

  • Collation and provision of statutory information to Group Finance

What are we looking for -

This role ideally suits a candidate that is qualified (ACA/ACCA) and is looking to make their first step out of practice into a commercial environment. Experience within stat accounting and working with multiple clients is highly desirable.
