About the Job:
This role entails comprehensive financial reporting responsibilities for a specific European entity and supporting the European Finance Manager with various financial activities across other entities. The position is based at the European headquarters in High Wycombe.
Duties will include:
- Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Conducting detailed reviews of departmental expenses.
- Managing month-end accrual and prepayment entries.
- Overseeing payroll entries and taxes in coordination with external partners.
- Handling internal and external audits.
- Managing fixed assets and capital expenditure approvals.
- Ensuring compliance with local statutory and tax reporting requirements.
- Assisting the Assistant Accountant with various accounting tasks and financial queries.
About the Successful Applicant:
The ideal candidate will have a relevant finance qualification and be fluent in both English and French. They should have strong accounting experience, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
