** Employee Relations Advisor/Specialist - 6 Month FTC Initially - Hybrid/Reading (2 Days) - £50,000 + Excellent Benefits **

The company & The role
I am pleased to be working with a hugely successful business who are looking for an ER Specialist to support the ER team for initially 6 months. The ideal candidate will provide ER support and advice to the management teams, coach line managers on employee relations cases and HR Policies and undertake basic case management of Employment Tribunals. You will also assist the ER Manager to deliver an effective ER function.

A Few Key Features Include

  • Support and coach line managers at all levels of the business, providing accurate and timely advice on, disciplinary, grievance, capability (sickness and performance) and probation cases
  • Coach and advise line managers on the business risk for disciplinary cases (with the exception of AWOL) where the proposed sanction is written warning and above
  • Review ER letters and provide feedback to line managers on whether the content is clear, objective and legally compliant and manage this within the SLA timescales
  • Support and coach line managers on other ER policies and matters e.g. flexible working, family leave, holiday, working hours etc.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members by sharing best practice and assisting with cases, as and when required
