Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a US listed $1Bn turnover business that has the feel of an SME, the role will be based at the EMEA HQ in Reading. It is a fast paced, fun place to work.

The Role: Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties including monthly reporting, statutory accounting, tax and treasury across the various entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of the statutory accounts for my client's EMEA legal entities

  • Preparation of the corporation tax packs

  • Key role in the preparation of month end accounts including the preparation quarterly corporation tax provisions.

  • Review of the full monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations for each trading entity.

  • Preparation and submission of various deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting needs

  • Main point of contact for statutory audit for the EMEA legal entities

  • Ensuring that all accounting procedures are completed accurately and within agreed time-frame

  • Preparation of cash flow forecasts and the management of cash on a daily basis, including reporting of actuals.

  • Any other ad hoc duties

Key Skills/Competencies:

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent hands on EMEA accounting experience

  • Strong knowledge of UK and US GAAP highly beneficial

  • Ability to keep to tight deadlines is critical

  • Good team player and able to work collaboratively

  • High attention to detail

  • Good computer skills, including Excel

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 based in Reading, Berkshire
