Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting a Divisional Finance Director for a rapidly growing market-leading provider of professional services to SMEs. Due to organic and M&A growth the Group has implemented a Divisional operating model. Made up of three business units with local finance teams. Our client provides subscription-based ISO, SSIP & e-Learning services to over 30,000 clients. The role has been created due to an internal promotion. This is an exciting time to join this private equity backed Group, who have tripled in size over the past 5 years and have ambitious growth plans in the next phase of their investment cycle, including international expansion.
The Divisional Finance Director role is highly diverse. You will support the Divisional MD and will be key to enabling and helping the Division achieve its fast-paced growth plans. You will develop and manage relationships across all business levels to maximise revenue, profitability and challenge the status quo.
Supporting the Group CFO you will be responsible for the business unit Finance teams and act as the key link between the business unit finance teams and Group Finance. You will take ownership for overseeing general accounting and controls, budgets and forecasts; including our extensive growth plans, manage and improve cash-flow, influence and impact effective financial strategies and ensure key financial metrics are achieved.
The role requires forward thinking, adaptable individuals with a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA OR ACCA). You will be a positive commercial finance leader with a growth mindset, able to grasp new methodologies, understand the bigger picture, manage a highly diverse stakeholder group and have previous experience of working within a matrix reporting structure. You will have a focus on accuracy, a high attention to detail and a hands-on approach to supporting, developing and improving all those around you. Previous experience with in a PE backed business is highly desirable as is exposure to a subscription based business.

Salary £80,000 - £100,000 plus equity and benefits
