Director of Informatics - £90,000 - £105,000 - Bracknell
Our client is a well-established organisation currently undergoing a period of growth, with a unique approach, combining methodology with progressive science analytics, they currently have a role for a Director of Informatics to join them and be part of their success in the future.
Driving insights, change and evidence interventions to provide long-term improvements and services.
Working on senior client facing projects and taking the lead when consulting opportunities.
Working on large data sets and recommending areas of improvement as well as implementing these into the business.
Assisting and moulding the improvement processes and well as managing the changes
Assimilating client business operations and developing test hypotheses.
Building relationships with clients on various levels; i.e. Executive, Clinical and analysts within the team.
What you will need to be successful:
A degree in Mathematics, Economics or a subject dealing with statistics
Strong understanding of hospital and patient flow
Experience in Statistical process control and strong skills in Python/SQL or another coding language.
Being able to translate data into clinical insights
NHS experience or dealing with NHS data is CRUCIAL in this role
When not on client site, you will be working from offices in Bracknell. As this is, a client-facing role there will be expectation for travel to client sites, as a guide this will be 2-3 days per week. This can include overnight stays depending on location, and/or longer period's dependant on project need.
