The company

Opportunity to join an impressive organisation who are currently looking for a Learning and Development specialist to join their team. Working with the L&D team to enhance, develop and deliver both digital learning across the UK for the business as well as face to face and more traditional training.

The role

This is a hands on role in which you will work with other specialists and provide learning and training solutions across the UK. The role includes:

  • Carrying out capability assessments across the teams.
  • Designing blended learning solutions.
  • Using digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programmes.
  • Designing and facilitating a range of learning interventions - face to face and/or online, including technical and behavioural programmes.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team and other functions to deliver first class learning to all our retail colleagues
  • Monitoring how effectively learning has been transferred to colleagues at all levels
  • Administer and manage the Digital Learning Platform
  • Manage the administration of L&D e-mail inbox
  • Support and advise on the Apprenticeships programmes across the retail stores
  • Review, update and advise on the developmental programmes that are delivered across the retail colleague population
  • Driving a culture of continuous professional development.
  • Creating a coaching culture in the organisation.
  • Keep up with the business updates and changes

What you will need to be successful

You will need a background of working of Learning and Development and be able to demonstrate a background of delivering both more traditional training and digital learning methods.

This is a fast moving, multi-site operation and so the client is looking for someone who has worked in this capacity previously.

Experience of using Storyline, Rise, Articulate, Mysimpleshow or other digital learning platforms is required.

You will not only design the learning methods but will need to also be a confident individual able to deliver these and present across the business at all levels.

A confident, approachable individual with flexibility to occasionally travel to ensure you are delivering the training objectives across the business.
