About the Job:
This is a standalone Credit Control position, responsible for managing a ledger of approximately 500 accounts. Working as part of a small finance team, the role involves end-to-end credit control, from setting up accounts to chasing debt and resolving queries.
Duties will include:
- Managing the full credit control cycle
- Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email with confidence and professionalism
- Setting up new customer accounts and assigning appropriate credit limits
- Handling multicurrency transactions, including GBP, USD, and EUR
- Performing bank reconciliations and supporting invoice discounting processes
- Investigating and resolving any billing or payment-related queries
- Working with SAGE software to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
About the Successful Applicant:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control, with experience handling high volumes of accounts. They will be confident on the phone, comfortable dealing with queries, and capable of managing multicurrency transactions.
