My client is a long-established and constantly evolving, company based In Newbury.
They are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.
Progression opportunities within this firm are unlimited. To be successful you will need to be a confident communicator who has strong Excel ability and an understanding of how a Credit Control function works.
The Credit Control team is an intrinsic part of the Finance function and you will be recognised and rewarded for hard work and positive results. The working environment and culture is high-spirited, dynamic, busy and very sociable.
Duties include:
Reducing overdue debt for an assigned section of a large Sales Ledger
Obtaining accurate payment using effective collection techniques via telephone/email
Accurate Sales Ledger data production and statement reporting
Account reconciliations and monthly reporting
Query investigation, resolution and credit note processing
Customer account maintenance
Ad-hoc Billing and A/R tasks as required
The Candidate:
+2 years experience in Credit Control
Must be well organised and flexible and capable of working to tight deadlines and KPI's
A good understanding of Excel spreadsheets and recording/reconciling large volumes of data
Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with speed and accuracy
Consistently delivering the highest levels of performance
Building strong relationships with internal and external business unit Managers
