About the Job
Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, this role is responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and supporting the wider finance function. You will play a key role in maintaining cash flow and minimising financial risk across the business.

Duties will include:

  • Regularly liaising with customers regarding outstanding and overdue payments
  • Processing incoming payments and reconciling them within internal systems
  • Applying credit control procedures to minimise financial exposure
  • Approving sales orders in line with established credit policies
  • Setting up new customer accounts in accordance with verification processes
  • Conducting periodic credit assessments to identify potential risks
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer account records
  • Communicating effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Building strong working relationships across departments
  • Ensuring service levels are consistently met for internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting general accounts administration tasks as required

About the Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience in credit control, strong Excel skills, and excellent attention to detail. You will be highly organised, a confident communicator, and capable of building relationships at all levels. A proactive approach, strong analytical ability, and the confidence to make decisions and negotiate effectively are essential.
