Commercial Finance Analyst

The role

  • Reviewing contract budgeting and forecasting
  • Providing financial commercial support and assist with internal and external financial reporting
  • Measuring financial performance of contracts
  • Produce monthly reporting packs, prepare and review the monthly management accounts
  • Ensure balances are correct for deferred and accrued income
  • Assist in the year-end audit preparations
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc financial reports

What you will need to be successful

The ideal person will have a thorough understanding of accounting concepts, be AAT qualified or studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA) with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.

  • AAT Qualified or studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience of a financial role building relations and support non-finance professionals
  • Experience of preparing budgets and management accounts
  • Experience of setting up reporting for projects
  • Good IT knowledge including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders
