Assistant Finance Manager - £45000 - £50000 - Bracknell - Hybrid-working

You will work with a highly sociable and fun team for one year!

The role

In this role, you'll be working closely with the Finance Manager, who will provide high level guidance, and assist them with the day-to-day running of the finance function, focusing on the daily ledger processes, assisting with the overall management of the team and workload to ensure business targets are met.

  • Business partnering with other managers
  • Checking and approving regular payment runs on all AP Ledgers
  • Assisting with completing year end
  • Ensuring full balance sheet reconciliations are completed
  • Calculating accruals, preparing & posting necessary journals to complete the month-end close within agreed timescales
  • Supporting business projects, including implementations of new databases.
  • Seeking to continuously improve processes within the team and support junior team members
  • Ensuring that all information produced satisfies audit and internal requirements

What you'll need to be successful

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • CIMA / ACCA Qualified
  • Advanced Excel - Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUPS
  • Management Experience
