Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting an Associate Accountant for a well-known, household name and globally established business. They are rapidly growing, and this role has come up due to continued growth within the team. The position is a commercial finance role and would suit someone who is actively studying (ideally part-qualified).

About the role - key responsibilities:

• Preparing inventory adjustments and journal entries
• Reconciling inventory quantities and values at month ends and after stock takes
• Reconciling month end differences (i.e. sales adjustments)
• Working closely with other departments to understand cause of variances and needed corrections
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Banking, loan transactions and reconciliations
• Foreign currency revaluations
• Fixed assets / depreciation postings and reconciliations
• Intercompany recharges / reconciliations

What you will need to be successful:

• Part-qualified ideally and studying towards a qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Previous experience within an accounting or finance role
• SAP knowledge (ideally but not necessary)
• Accounting experience within FMCG (ideal but not a necessity)
