Hybrid - Administrator - £25,000 - High Wycombe

The Company

My client has reached out, to me, as they are in need of a new Administrator to join their friendly and growing finance team. This company is a very well established and market leading specialist in their specific sector.

The Role

Based within the finance team, the successful candidate will have the task and responsibilities of:

  • Communicate with relevant departments to co-ordinate courier shipments
  • Managing shipping inbox, creating instructions to carriers and updating records
  • Creating shipment invoices & packing lists
  • Ensure all courier shipment deliveries are made in line with requirements
  • Be a contact for customer and internal queries relating to shipping or status enquiries
  • Signing off freight invoices from suppliers
  • Maintaining and updating various existing spreadsheets

What you'll need to be successful

  • Knowledge of Customs/HTS Codes
  • Previous experience of shipping and shipping procedures relating to imports & courier shipments
  • Keenness to learn and carry out new tasks and develop new skills
  • Sound analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of Incoterms
  • Strong communication skills
  • A high standard of computer literacy with Excel VLOOKUP skills
