My client is a long-established business in Surrey. They are currently seeking an experienced Credit Control and Receivables specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to a Finance Manager, the successful candidate will need to drive and monitor A/R processes in a fast paced, sales-led environment, ensuring accurate cash flow forecasting, revenue recognition and timely collections across a diverse portfolio of debtors and a variety of revenue streams.
You will also hold overall responsibility for monitoring, reconciling and collating Ledger data in order to produce accurate periodic reporting with detailed commentary.
Oversee the Credit Control and Receivables processes for all revenue streams
Managing the timely collection of all debts in accordance with agreed Credit/Payment terms
Ensure that cash flow is maximised and Management processes are completed in a timely manner
Work closely with Sales and Finance representatives to ensure accurate revenue recognition and cash flow forecasts
Deal with escalated queries or disputes
Produce ad-hoc, weekly and month-end reports on a timely basis with commentary
Remote staff development. Providing coaching, direction and guidance
Oversee, review and recommend updates to the credit policy
Proven experience as a Credit or A/R specialist in a sole charge or Supervisory capacity
A track record of adding real business value and able to communicate at Board level
Demonstrate a contagious enthusiasm for continuous improvement and consistently delivering the highest levels of performance
Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with a diverse portfolio of debtors
Building strong relationships with internal business unit Directors and Sales Teams
Excellent attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills for reporting
